Nov. 16-17, 2008 - 10 Gallery Salon stylists attended the World Release in NYC for TONI&GUY/TIGI International Creative Team. This is a highly anticipated, new and exciting collection of haircuts and ideas which are released for the fall. We are among the first to see "what's next" in hair fashion trends. World Release is taught in an energetic and motivational program in which to learn TIGI/TONI&GUY's most current trends. It includes live model presentations and cutting demonstrations, and hands-on studio education. As students, we each chose to concentrate on cutting or colouring for 2 days, or mixed up the two. It was a phenomenal learning experience - not to mention fun for all of us to socialize together. This year's World Release and classes were provided to employees by Gallery Salon at no charge!
Every Tuesday evening - Technical training classes are held for stylists lead by our salon educators; Gino Moncada, Vito Ventrella or Elizabeth Harrigan.
Apprentice Training or Advancement training to a Stylist position - Our ongoing apprentice program is normally a structured nine month curriculum. Students currently attending hairdressing school, interested in part time employment and becoming a stylist at Gallery Salon are encouraged to apply.
